the new normal

It's been 15 days since my last radiation treatment. I'm feeling so much better.  Last weekend I did something kind of stupid, but I don't regret it.  We got a puppy.  Her name is Luna.  We brought her home from the Northeast Animal Shelter.  She's from West Virginia and she is mostly lab with a little hound.  That is where she gets her long legs and ears.  She is so much work, but it's going to be great.

I have also been getting back into the swing with work, which is nice.  I am not going back to Mullen.  I'll be freelancing instead.  So I am going to need a new logo, website...lots to do.  I preordered the Canon 5d mark III.  I can't wait for that to come in!  I have a shoot scheduled for next week, so let's hope it gets here in time.

Here's the pooch.

6 to go

It's getting old. But I am almost finished. Only side effects so far are fatigue and skin redness. Can't complain.
This picture is at the desk where I check in every morning at 7 am.

Hmmmm. Ok, I've now done 11. How many more
That's nothing.
Feeling fine. No side effects so far.

Another delicious meal from the Haberlands. Awesome neighbors!

I went to see the radiologist today. Proton therapy isn't an option as they wouldn't be able to start until March and we need to get in and zap the shit out of my mediastinal mass to make sure I never have to deal with cancer again. Sooooo, OFUC will be back in full swing starting the 17th of February. 25 days total. 5 weeks. I had a CAT scan today and got my tattoos for alignment on the table. Side effects shouldn't be too bad. Fatigue and sore throat with difficulty swallowing. Whatever. Chemo is a bitch so I am sure this will seem a lot easier.
All I can say is FU cancer. I win and you continue to lose.
